don’t go here. barista staff is rude, waited more than 20 minutes for espresso drinks. baristas screwed up 2 of them, didnt apologize, and barely turn around from the machine to address you. just overall poor service in an iconic hotel. really sad after all these years.
Busy coffee shop in the morning.
Dropped by for a coffee after dinner. The seating was a bit cramped, and the lighting felt a little harsh for the evening. It was fine for a quick stop, but not somewhere I'd linger long, especially with how busy it was.
God have mercy. This place employs 3 people for a flagship destination in Chicago. A simple breakfast sandwich took over 23 minutes to prepare. They do not provide order numbers so I have observed numerous people fighting over orders, and sorting through bags with their bare hands. It’s unfortunate that there is a culture of complacency and sloth like movements here. I wouldn’t recommend unless you have an hour to kill.
