If I could give less than one star for the manager at LA fitness in ********************* , I would. Called to ask for support around the lack of maintenance and health hazards and children in the pool area. Her response , we dont have any control of that area. Wow! You dont control the pool in your gym? She proceeded to be rude and tell me I needed to come in face to face if I had an issue. How about taking responsibility for your club and learning how to make amends rather than starting a fight . Such a bad representation ... read more

For more than 6 months the same machines have been broken and nothing has been to do address this. Every time I want to use the treadmill or stair master i have to mentally prepare myself to not get upset since majority of the machines do not work and i know i will get frustrated. There are about 15 stair master machines and only 4 of them work i have counted. Been like this for over 6 months. same story for the treadmills. This business is garbage and is A SCAM. I was scammed into buying a membership and a personal training subscription over the summer. The trainer pressured me to get the personal training membership even though she didnt tell me that I couldnt cancel. I even repeatedly said to them that I couldnt afford it. Last month I moved to a different state where Im over 50 miles from an LA fitness. I followed the proper cancellation protocol by mailing both cancellation request. I was asking out of the training contract that i also found out i was never given the info to opt out after first 45 days. Never trainers available including manager never caing for appt and always taking money every month Never could get i touch with manager covid keeps me away . Callef customer service in calif. Never called back after explained problem greedy values

From the day I started at this gym I have had the WORST customer experience. I tried to cancel my PT training 2 days after I signed up and was LIED to by the front desk that I could not. I then asked for a manager and was told he would call and FOR DAYS I kept calling back and not only was the manager not available but was told he would call back and he did not. The place is not bad however the environment is toxic. I go the the LA fitness in *************** and heard one of the managers whose name is ******************************* talk to multiple employees is a very disrespectful way that made me very angry. This manager should get fired!

I've been a LA Fitness member for over 5 years. This year was my first time adding a Personal Trainer program to my fitness goals. There was a specific trainer that I wanted to train with and I have expressed this to the person commissioned to sign me up on the program. This person explained to me that I was free to choose from any of the Personal Trainer (PT) at all facilities. They are a complete and utter scam. I am still being billed 13 months into a 12 MONTH personal training plan that I never even use because the training service was awful. Stay far away from LA Fitness.
