Signed up for personal training lessons telling the salesman that i was going to have tests done for a bad heart valve and may have to cancel the lessons. He assured me to just bring in a Dr's note if there is a problem and LA Fitness would immediately cancel the personal training lessons. Sure enough i needed a stent but in my valve and was told not to do heavy lifting for the future. In April, 2022, my wife joined LA Fitness in ***********, *******. During her enrollment, she was sold a one-year personal fitness program which included 3 one half hour training sessions per month. She told the salesman that it was imperative that she completed this in one year as we were scheduled to move out of the area. The salesperson told her that would not be a problem, of course. Just 3 months into the program her assigned trainer, whom she liked and was actually seeing progress with was given a new position and was ... read more

The weight area is always in shambles no matter what time of the day I go. Weight plates and bumpers scattered all throughout the floor causing tripping hazards near the squat racks and benches. I bet it has never been organized not once since Ive been going. Same exact issue with the dumbbells. Just tossed everywhere. I understand that people should put their weights back when theyre done but not everyone is considerate. The staff should have it be a part of their routine to clean that area up a few times during their shift... read more
