This gym is not safe for minors nor children. There is no surveillance control on the outside nor the inside. They have no protection protocol for safety measure on the inside nor outside of the building. Esporta is owned completely separate from the Westfield Mall property management, and the security that patrols the nightshift specifically does not engage in actives related to the Esporta area since they are completely different owners. LA has just made its transition to Esporta. I currently pay $29.99 for a single club membership. Esporta’s basic membership is $9.99. I asked about switching to the Esporta membership since it’s the same as what I’m paying now, but $20 less. they make you go through so many loops to cancel your memebrship. NEVER getting a membership here again. They also lied when I got my membership saying they would extend the hours but they never did and they close early.

Attempted to cancel my membership before the billing cycle hit in March 2021. The gyms closed down due to COVID-19. I was notified that the billing would resume for membership and immediately contacted my local gym to cancel my membership. I called the LA Fitness located at Coldwater Canyon Ave, Sherman Oaks, CA, on March 19, 2021 to cancel. Dishonest business practices. They lied about the features available at their facility and sold me a membership while having no wifi for over a week and concealing that information from me. When I found out I canceled my membership within rescission and have a right to my full refund and they have been giving me the run around for two weeks trying not to give me back my money that they took in exchange for nothing. I cancelled my membership at the Pearland Parkway LA Fitness in January 2021. I followed all the instructions in the contract to cancel. We are now in May, I have cancelled w two other reps at La Fitness since January, and still my contract is not cancelled. I receive multiple calls and emails every week requesting payment and promises to cancel. I have had to contact my bank to stop them from auto withdrawing on my card.
