Decent Food ... This place has a large selection of Mexican food ... burritos, tacos, and enchilada. You can't go wrong with any of these. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. Enjoy!
Good food/poor service I have eaten here many times, as the food is good (big selection) - it's all about the chips and salsa and the Espiaus salad! I have never had great service - so I recommend calling it in to pick up. If you have over and hour to spend, it's nice to sit out front on the sidewalk, or out in the patio (they have live music some nights). Just don't expect to be well attended to, but decent place to hang out for a while.
Espiau's Restaurant One of my favorite restaurants!! The Mexican salad is to die for if you love cheese. A great menu with many choices. The chips and salsa are the best!! I go here about once a month!!
Espiau's This is the same Espiau's that used to be on Holt Avenue in Pomona. Go there for the famous Espiau's salad. The lettuce is piled high in a large bowl and topped with red wine vinaigrette and shredded Mexican cheese.
Possibly the worst mexican food I have ever had! – If you're coming here for the food, don't. It's been in Claremont for years, and although the food is terrible, it does have decent service and the ambience isn't bad. It's located in a great place and if you aren't looking for authentic or even passable Mexican food, I recommend Danson.
