Terrible service! – I had high hopes for this restaurant, but I was sorely disappointed. When I arrived with my party, they refused to seat us on the terrace though it was nearly empty. They then took 20 minutes to take our appetizer order. While the food is a passable, it is not close to authentic Brazilian cooking (both my dining companions and I have lived in Brazil). Our entrees took another 30 minutes to arrive once our appetizers were cleared. We had to ask four times for the most basic things like water and bread. We ... read more

What a deal – This place is such a bargain. The food is very good for this price range and the atmosphere is so kick back and fun. it's also a place where people of all ages, dress, etc feel comfortable. There's no pretension just great food and a good time. It gets crowded so you have to wait but so far the wiat has been easy downing drinks and people watching. I almost hate to say how good it is because I don't want it to be too hard to get into on a moments notice but since they have always been nice I must give them thei... read more

BEWARE OF $43 PITCHERS OF SANGRIA! – 6 OF US WENT FOR A 6:30 RESERVATION ON SUNDAY. THEY WERE OUT OF ALMOST EVERYTHING ON THE MENU AND ALSO RAN OUT OF BREAD. THE SERVICE WAS AWFUL. HAD TO BEG FOR SERVING UTENSILS AND WATER. WE ORDERED 2 PITCHERS OF MEDIOCRE SANGRIA. WE SHOULD HAVE CHECKED THE PRICE BECAUSE EACH ONE WAS $43. WHEN THE CHECK CAME WE WERE SHOCKED. THE MUSIC WAS FABULOUS AND THE ATMOSPHERE WAS GOOD ALSO.

Great – I just went there for the first time after some friends recommended the place. I had the moqueca, and it was just like I remember having in Brazil. And the drinks were great and cheap too!

Best Moqueca – Great mix of foods...Cuban, Brazilian and maybe some other island in the Caribbean. Drinks are a bit pricey, sometimes if you feel like splurging it's well worth it. Be prepared to spend $50 on your portion.

Amazing - don't listen to the negative reviews – Love this place! It's great for a date, bunch of friends or a birthday. The food is amazing, well priced and unique. The atmosphere is fun but low key and they have great mojitos.

Delicious!!! – Despite many reviews on this site for poor or nasty service- I went with a group of 8 Saturday night and found them to be nothing but courteous and accommodating. Half of us got there well in advance (prompted by the posts of "they will give you table away") and they were willing to seat us before the rest of the group showed up. The food was great and I didn't feel rushed at all. They did suggest ordering dessert when we ordered the meal but only the souffle and that was to take a half hour to prepare. Unders... read more
