NO STARS. We bought a new home 5 years ago and Exterior Specialties of PA was the roofing contractor. We hired an independent home inspector right after settlement (Because Kay Builders is a terrible builder), and found the roof had so many issues that they suggested a complete redo. Giving ESP the benefit of the doubt, we allowed them to come out and fix all of the nail pops, exposed nails, and torn shingles. The drivers pulling into this place are all fools
Avoid all homes with an ESP roof. Have had issues since day 1. Non responsive company and will not rectify the issues. Now we have significant mold issues and will require a complete redo on an 8 year old house. Issues were shingles not even secured down. Shingles which did not overlap the nail holes, and just overall poor craftsmanship.
ESP did the initial install of my new construction. Five years later, I have a leak. Fair enough. Things happen. Upon contacting them I was advised that I was out of the one year warranty and outside their service area and this was basically a "so sad too bad" situation. I asked if they would look at the leak for a charge and was told they couldn't help me because their service area had changed.
