Dr Barker is a very knowledgeable cardiologist. I have been a patient of his for about 20years. I'm talking years before he opened his own practice. He's great at listening to my medical needs and has gone to great lengths when possible to correct any and all of my health problems. My husband saw Dr. Barker when the ambulance had to take him to the Heart Hospital ER recently. Dr. Barker was the cardiologist on call and was extremely patient and understanding. He took his time to listen to his medical history before deciding what needed to be done. He also explained why and what the procedure would be to me and my daughter. After the procedure he came and told us of his findings and explained them. I would not hesitate to see him or recommend him to anyone needing a cardiologist.
Dr. Barker is an amazing doctor!! He makes time for his patients & thoroughly works them up. My father is a patient of his & continue to see him. But we had an issue with his wife who is office manager regarding an excuse to return back to work after a procedure & new med was started. She went back & forth about why he didn’t return sooner yada yada. My father is retired & 66 yrs old. He works part time to have something to do & stay active. I would highly recommend Dr. Barker for any cardiac issues. He is very caring, thoughtful and extremely competent in his field. He also treats other family members and we find him to an excellent physician who cares about is patients.
