Esmai’s is phenomenal! I highly recommend the Bolognese! If you’re lucky you may have the opportunity to speak to the owner Mai who is beyond welcoming and kind. Will be back again and again!
Discovered Esmai for dinner when moving my daughter to a new apartment. The pastas are made on site and are next-level, especially the radiatore. The brunch menu looks delicious and word is out that the roof deck is fantastic.
Was excited to try Esmai’s in Brookline. I’ve lived near it for some time and decided to take my girlfriend there for our anniversary dinner. When we arrived, we waited for a table on the rooftop. We had no problem with this, and had a yummy hugo spritz while we waited. It wasn’t long before a table opened up and they sat us. Esmai’s offers the perfect place for both events and intimate dinners. I’ve used this wonderful restaurant for both. They have a roomy downstairs bar that was perfect for hosting my book launch party. They also have an open upstairs dining area with a breathtaking view that is perfect for drinks with friends or intimate dinners for 2.
