Had a contracted rate under my insurance when my son started his othro treatment. We had a flat fee to pay. We then changed our insurance and they started billing it without authorization. I called them as soon as they did it and they said it wouldn't be a problem because they would deduct that amount from the amount we owed in the contracted rate. Over a year later they are going back on that and saying that the money they received from my second insurance company does not go against what we owed. Jessica was the one that I spoke to originally and agreed that the payments from my insurance would reduce my total due. However, she no longer works there and the new manager Nadine will not honor it. The new manager said that she is in charge and there is no one else that I can talk to. They are stealing almost $700 from us.

They need to respect people's time. It took three phones call, two of which took over 10 minutes, to make an appointment. However, when I showed up this morning, they didn't have the appointment for my son in the system and didn't offer to fit him in either. I won't be rescheduling this appointment and will be finding a new dentist.

Escondido Smile is the best! The stuff are always so warm and welcoming. Happy and positive atmosphere in the office. Dr. Pedrum is very nice and knowledgeable. I appreciate her engaging step by step explanations during every procedure. For my cleaning, I always see Ilmira, the hygienist. She is nice and has a good sense of humor. She spends a good amount of time making sure my teeth are perfectly clean. She shows the concern areas during appointment and give her recommendations. From the first time I saw her my gums look so much healthier. Day and night. It’s good to know that professionals in this office are truly care about my teeth and health in general.

They were so accommodating! My grandmother (94) was able to stay in her wheelchair for xrays and they gave her a large, super fuzzy blanket to help keep her warm. Thank you for treating her like a person and not just a mouth that needed fixed!
