You can get better care at the DMV!!! The nursing staff is horrid. My mom has stage 4 renal cancer and goes through immense pain if not controlled. On her first night here they ignored her cries and then finally just told her to take a Tylenol! I spoke with the one reasonable nurse here, jose, who apologized for the neglect and promised to rectify it. It's day 4 now and again she was ignored for 14 HOURS!! been trying for two weeks to get social services from Escondido Post acute care to return my calls, the voice mail from the Directory states in part he will get back to you at his earliest convenience. When is that time? left messages from the other Social Services people none have returned my call.

This place is awful! My grandmother and uncle are both here and have been negected and possibly abused. The staff has stolen cash from my grandmother's purse and she is terrified of the nursing staff. They refuse to take her to PT and do not work with my uncle as they are required. The nurses tell us he cannot walk and I've seen him do it-he needs help, but heaven forbid they get off their butts to do anything.
