I was excited to try this place and was severely let down. First all, the service was extremely uncomfortable and awkward. Our server started off by explaining what everything was but kept telling us that since they just opened, they had nothing really ready. She reminded us about 5 times that they just opened. We went in around 10 minutes after open and there were no fried foods and we were told they would slowly come out one by one, we were there for about 40 minutes and maybe 2 fried foods came out. So awesome to go to with friends
The rice wine rice cake was so good—soft, fluffy, and slightly sweet. The tteokbokki was delicious too, and they had a nice variety of Korean food. Definitely a spot I’d come back to! 😊
this place is phenomenal. this is the best tteokbokki i have ever had. and yes that is because we make our own sauce, but that makes it fun! it helped me learn what flavors i like best with my tteokbokki. i love the variety of additions to put in, from meat to different sized rice cakes to veggies to ramen. the selection of spice/powder additions for the sauce is my favorite part. this is a regular spot when i visit the city now.
