We were looking for something new to try while visiting the city. This was intriguing and a lot of fun. There was only the two of us and thankfully our lives didn't depend on getting out because we didn't escape in time. But he staff came in at the end and helped us Carry out the clues so we had the entire experience. Definitely recommend!

Had a lot of fun with a group of 4 in the detective room. All the clues and puzzles were very intuitive and challenging. One of the best things about Escape Games NYC is that they have private rooms. We've done room escapes before and playing with strangers always takes away from the experience. We will definitely be back to try out the more difficult rooms!
I went for my birthday and had a blast. We were a group of 5 and chose the Detective story. We did great for it being all of our first time participating in an escape game. We were so close to getting it out. We were in the middle of doing the last task when our time ran out. We needed 10 more minutes. You have to use critical thinking and working as a team in pairs work. Therefore while one person is working on a task, the others can be looking for me clues.
