Ive been preapproved through Chase Bank for awhile and been shopping for my wife. We found a 2022 Outback that she liked and I applied for it. Got approved financing. Went down, test drove the car and she liked it. I gave them the approval ID for my financing. Came back the next day to pick the car up and found out they didnt even use my financing.
