Speech Therapist or Superhero? – My dentist told me that my five year old daughter was in need of speech therapy because she had a tongue thrusting issue. Amazing Speech Therapist! – Our daughter has been seeing Barbara for a little over a year and the change in our daughter is nothing short of amazing! Our daughter is autistic. Hail the Quarterback – We have been visiting Barbara weekly for six months. Barbara has acted as our quarterback and sounding board from day one. Barbara's sole focus, as it is with every child I have seen in her office, has been on the success of our daughter and the results have been amazing. Our appointments have consistently been focused, to the point and productive. Barbara has unlocked the world for our child and know our daughter is able to act in this world instead of react to it.

Excellent Speech Therapist! – Barbara Erskine is an excellent and professional speech therapist. I have 2 boys (10 and 4) who have worked with her for the past year. When I first was referred to Barbara I was at my wits end with not knowing what to do for my boys. My older son had been in speech therapy at school for 2 years with no results! Excellent Therapist, Questionable Manners – Mrs. Erskine is an excellent speech therapist and was able to close the gap on my son's tongue thrust in a satisfactory time frame. I would not doubt her skills, knowledge and therapy plans in the slightest. However, I am concerned that her informal ways and somewhat introverted personality did not provide a welcoming and comfortable setting for my child. Seems to have a plan - but fails with billing and manners. – I have to apologize to those of you who have given Mrs. Erskine accolades. This is our own personal experience and is not reflective of how she may deal with others. Maybe she just didn't like us personally - I don't know.
