I took my wife to Erol's to get a dress hemmed up. After checking the dress-in, we were not given a price, so I called back a few days later to get a price. The owner told me he would call back in a few minutes, but he instead waited until mid-day the next day, so he could rush the work, and charge us $248.00 to hem up and adjust it at the shoulders.
