I have never dealt with a more, aloof, dismissive physician. She was provided all information regarding the previous treating doctor, but didn’t think it was necessary to request those records, yet asks for medical Information that would have been in those documents…and was agitated and rude when we were unable to provide answers. She was a follow doctor after my stroke. She was very professional and gave great follow up care after I started having seizures after my stroke. I felt she was thorough in her care of me.
Dr. Ernstoff is very caring and excellent with her patients. She's willing to take time to listen and answer questions...to a fault. She regularly goes over appointment times, leaving the next patients waiting as long as several hours for their appointment. She also seems to have trouble holding onto staff, and often gets behind on patient contacts due to her staffing issues. Professionnel, competent and thorough
There is no front staff anymore. It took many phone calls and massages left for over 2 weeks to get my prescription refilled. Dr Ernstoff did not call in the pre authorization for the prescription. So now I am fighting with my insurance company and the doctor to still get it refilled. I need to take my injections every 30 days and now I am behind. Very rude, inflated billing, unprofessional, unclean exam room/office, reuses paper patients sit on. $463 for office visit, $225 for something else, and other charges insurance didn’t cover. I sent letters about billing, no response. Was there 3 hours. Dr. transcribed to digital recorder, typing with 1 Finger on laptop, kept making mistakes & redoing, input wrong info. Had stacks of files on floor beside her desk. I had to sit on table with wrinkled paper from past patient. Horrible Dr.
Dr Ernstoff is a wonderful doctor and takes the time to listen to you. However her support staff has a lot to be desired. I have left several messages with no call back. I have often gone to her office and have waited up to 3 hours. I am still waiting for someone to call me back regarding my brain MRI. I had to go to a different neurologist. to this day, no one has called me from her office.
