I encountered an unbalanced individual during my recent visit, and it was a deeply unsettling experience. I have never faced such hostility in an exchange with someone from another race. Having lived in Valpo my whole life Ernie’s has just always been there. Like an old friend. I have bought my gas there exclusively since August of 2011. A large local chain had sold me 7 gallons of water with my fuel. Since then Mike and his staff have towed for me, fixed a tire or two, and sold me several batteries. Idk i really really think that they looked at me and said we’re going to get this guy. Took my car in cuz it was running rich it was shaking I kinda knew what the problem was but I couldn’t quite get it thought it’ll be faster taking to the mechanic, boy did I make a huge mistake taking it to Ernie’s. 3 days go by and no call so I go in there and tell them what I think it’s wrong and they changed the parts.
