I, 71 years old, and my whole family , about 26 of us, and some very close friends meet at Ernesto's, in Garland Tx, two to four times a month on Friday evenings. I would recommend Ernesto's restaurants even to the most picky of eaters. It is the best Mexican restaurant anywhere in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex. We have been going to eat there for years. For those of us that avoid pork, Ernestos is a gem. Excellent service, excellent food and always helpful even when we drop by with a party of 20. It's difficult.for us to find Mexican restaurants where we have the opportunity o eat the beans and/or rice. We recommended it to all our friends!
Our favorite Tex Mex Restaurant in the Dallas area. great service and food. average trips about once or twice a month. Almost hard to find nestled in a strip mall near NW Highway and Centerville. No complaints and enjoy the lard-free beans.
The BEST authentic Mexican food in Garland. Service was excellent and friendly! I ordered guacamole salad and a cheese enchilada dinner. Fresh and yummy!!! I would recommend this restaurant to all my foodie friends with a passion for Mexican food.

My favorite Tex-Mex – I have been to Ernesto's many times and have never had bad food or bad service. Not even mediocre. Their beef enchiladas are the best of anywhere I have eaten. The chips are always fresh and the salsa has just enough bite to keep me happy.
Not enough food Ok so the place was clean you know & good service but man.... there was just not enough food on the plate. I bought a 10 dollar dish and im expecting to get full or almost full. The food did taste good but i definitly would not recommend for people like me that like to eat alot.
