I had an extremely disappointing experience with Dr. Ernesto Rodríguez office at Florida Medical Clinic. For over two and a half months, I’ve been waiting for an appointment while battling cancer. Two weeks ago, they contacted me to verify my insurance, and I provided all the details. They reassured me that the appointment was confirmed for May 5th. I am a patient of Dr Rodriguez. He is a great dr! He listens and spends time to help me better understand my issues. What I don't like is I don't see him everytime. It's so difficult to get a message to him when you leave that office. I would rather speak to my dr not practitioners. Also, I have tried several times to be added so I can send messages thru patient portal. I still have not been added. Yes I called to ask why. I would not go to another dr he really cares and that's good.
While Dr Rodriguez is kind, it does not erase the problems I experienced under his care. Several medical errors are inexcusable and not ok. Please advocate for yourself if a patient here.
