Dr is informative, helpful and kind. Great surgeon and a well run office. I couldn’t be happier to have him for a Dr! Also, they will get you in quickly if necessary.
This Dr was great with one huge exception. He disobeyed my request to test my samples for a very specific bacteria while performing a colonoscopy in January of 2021. This bacteria may have been responsible for causing my Crohn's Disease, and I was exposed to it from a product that has since been recalled. Furthermore, class action lawsuits have developed in response to the recall, but I am ineligible to join them, because they want a lab sample showing presence of said bacteria. He was extremely knowledgeable and able to recommend options to diagnose my problem.
I was having serious issues in the “exit only” orifice. An ER physician at St Mary Mercy squeezed the hemorrhoid putting me in agonizing pain and he didn’t even give me any pain meds. I cried my eyes out with my wife holding my head and hand. Dr Drelichman got me in relatively quickly to get it removed. Recovery took a week(ish). But it was worth it. Two years later, no recurrence and I cannot thank him enough for his skill and compassion considering the sensitivity of the subject
I'm not sure if this will ever get back to Dr. Drelichman. I wanted to leave a review and tell everyone about how great of a surgeon he is! In 2009, I was 23 years old, scared to death and fighting for my life from a very sick mega colon. He worked a miracle on me saved my life! August will be 10 years since my ileostomy surgery and I am blessed to still be able to write this today! I wanted to thank him again! My experience was very good. He listened to me and seemed to genuinely care about finding answers about what is causing my pain. His staff was very competent and and personable. They had a very friendly and caring attitude.
