I am someone dealing with multiple systemic painful conditions. I found Erin to be quite inflexible and lacking in comprehension or imagination. Many things she told me were nothing more than government spoon-fed propaganda that has been debunked over and over again. I have dealt with pain specialists in much larger cities, and frankly, Boise lacks professionals who truly understand multiple intractable pain conditions. Otherwise, I think Erin is a conscientious and kind person who means well.

Erin managed my pain after 2 total knee replacements. She listens well. Very compassionate. Very efficient.
Excellent bedside manner, polite and genuinely caring. She seems very knowledgeable yet strives to take the patient's input into consideration.

She is very caring, seems to genuinely care about patients. Most importantly for me she listens to what I say instead of already thinking of what she has to say. I know my body and how things affect me and she doesn't disregard that and she explains things.
I have been seeing Erin Welch for almost a year now. She is great at her job, she takes the time to explain why she does or doesn't feel that a particular treatment is good for your condition or not, and she really listens to the patient. I have had a great experience with her.
Erin Welch is a great NP. She is caring, listens tome as her patient and explains everything. I love her and will keep coming to her for as long as I need to.
