I started seeing Dr Mateer during my first pregnancy. I originally had a different OBGYN but was not comfortable there so I decided to find someone else and I am so glad that I came across Gaia. I am very high risk and had a lot of complications during pregnancy and delivery but Dr Mateer handled it very well and did not make me feel like I was not in good hands. Wonderful environment,, great staff
I wanted to make another review discussing call back times and emailing. I see a lot of negative reviews regarding call backs and emailing times, however, I have never waited more than a half a day for a message back. Gaia is busy, as any office is, however they are speedy and take pride in getting back to their patients fast. Of course emergencies and nurse calls have priority, but I have never felt they disregarded me. Thank you guys (:

From the beginning, Dr. Mateer was thorough, attentive, and incredibly compassionate. They monitored me closely and made sure every detail of my care was handled with the highest level of expertise. New patient here. I'm done having children, so haven't been to an ob/gyn for about 7 years. I'm so happy with my choice. I was seen by NP Elizabeth Ballester within 10 minutes of my appointment time. The staff (my NP, the nurse who took my vitals, and the front desk) was thorough, friendly and excellent, and I was on my way home within 30 minutes. If you're like me and you dislike going to doctors, this practice is caring and efficient! I highly recommend it.
