Dr Long has been my dermatologist for over 10 years. She has a big personality. She's also in a specialty field that is highly understaffed, so while I'm not condoning it, I understand her need to be quick and efficient. For the best experience, go in with a list of concerns written down and photos of any spots on your skin you have been watching. Have a physical list of your medications as well. My father saw her for a body check. When she flew in the room she told him she could only look at 3 things and that’s all she has time for. Very rude and rushed. You’re a doctor, if you don’t want to treat patients, change your profession. Signed, A Registered Nurse
I saw her once and didn’t go back. She was very aggressive and was a flash of light when she did my skin check. I was stunned with this assessment. Wondering why Intercoastal is allowing her to behave this way, especially with all the complaints. One star for surgically removing 1 out of 3 black heads. Appt was skin check and removal of all 3. I knew up front the cost was OOB which was fine with me. She said I needed to come back. Which as I said I didn’t go back!
I have been seeing Dr long for years. Today I showed up for a 3:30 appointment at 3:30. 2 people in line in front of me so I stopped in the bathroom right there. Came out first person just finished by the time it was my turn it was 3:35. I was told I needed to reschedule as I was late. The receptionist told her I had been there. UNACCEPTABLE!! Dr. Long has always been very thorough in checking me out. I’ve spent my whole life in the sun, and am overly cautious. She listens to my concerns and is willing to work with me on what medications will be most effective. I’ve been very happy with her staff too.
