Place was extremely clean, lady who helped me with a smile was awesome…. And food was good
What a fun atmosphere- completely unexpected in a deli. My companion loved his sandwich and said his soup was great. My salad was fine, nothing special. If the beets had been roasted (cut off tops and bottoms, seal in foil with a few drops of water, bake 400 til soft 30 to 60 min, cool, peel) instead of boiled the salad could have been quite good. Boiled beets don't have much flavor.
beef stew is really good but i do t think its thick enough to be called stew. would be better if it was thicker
