Dr Swanson was my doctor years ago, I had sinus surgery from a severe infection, I see some of the top doctors in the country now at Cleveland clinic and UF for other medical issues and still to this day they comment on how beautifully my sinus surgery was done. He was one of the most caring ent doctors I have ever seen and due to his diagnosis's I would go on to find out I was being poisoned by my hip replacement (and that was causing my sinus problems), he was a part of saving my life. I highly recommend.
All of the Charleston ENT staff have consistently been friendly and kind. Dr. Swanson took the time to answer all of my questions. He did not pressure me to get the sinus surgery done, just noted that I'd be a good candidate for it. I followed the post-surgery instructions carefully and have had a really great recovery. Dr. Swanson and his team performed a deviated Septum surgery on my husband in 2021. What we thought would help him with breathing problems has turned into a horrific nightmare. My husband now has even more difficulty breathing, has an over abundance of mucus,and nosebleeds! After the Deviated Septem surgery, his nose began making an annoying high pitched Humming Noise. Dr Swanson and his team at Charleston ENT were amazing during and after my surgery. They provided my spouse with updates and all after care information.
I met Dr Swanson looking for reassurance and answers to ongoing symptoms that had me concerned. Dr Swanson has a very calm, confident, and relaxed demeanor which really eased my anxiousness. A simple scope procedure was done in the office at my first visit; he made it very easy. A steady hand and a kind heart make an excellent physician and so I have to boast of my experience of Dr Swanson. Would recommend to my friends and family.
