Dr. Hong Yu is the best. She prescribed me medicine that actually helped me instead of making me feel like a monster. Dr. Boggiano didn't know what he doing, I almost killed myself due to the side effects of the drugs that he prescribed to me that caused suicidal and homicidal thoughts. After his care, I relapsed multiple times. Under Dr. Hong Yu's care, I haven't relapsed. I lost over a year of my life of being trapped in a psych ward because of Dr. Boggiano. Horrible place to be they will make false accusations on your admission, there will be hair in your food and they really don’t care about you . Find anywhere else to go
The staff here are rude, lazy, and don't do their jobs right. They give me several injections without sterilizing and without a court order or reason. Oh and you can file with the new York state department of health if you were mistreated/neglected make sure to get the staff names and date if you can and you usually have to file within 180 days of the incident. Look up how to report a pysch ward.
Do not send your family member here. It will cause more harm than help. These people are so unprofessional and frightening to deal with. You won’t be able to get through to your family member because they will tell you things like “they are unavailable”. They will laugh at you and tell you good luck getting through to your family member.
