Very poor experience with a manager for one of the food services there. He was just simply rude and considering he is the manager that is not right. Everything else about the living center is beautiful. But I was not happy with the way the food service manger approached and spoke to me. It was very unpleasant.
Updated review July 2025: My mom and her husband moved into Cedar Crest two years ago. They are STILL very happy and continue to meet more and more people. The residents here are a very “high caliber” so you will live among fascinating and intelligent people. The buildings are so well-cared for. I NEVER walk around thinking this-or-that needs to be repaired, cleaned or painted. They listen to the residents and make capital updates. I enjoy visiting! Don't bother with this place. My mother in law is a resident and needs assisted living but they have no room for months and now we have to move her. Don't fall for the over paid sales people garbage, they can't help you when you need it. Just go directly to another place and skip this one.
Staff is very freindly and helpfull
Mom has lived here for over 20 years. I can’t imagine anywhere that would’ve been better for her between the ages of 74 and 95. In the early years, she was active and met so many wonderful people. She had her car and drove wherever she wanted and had a lovely one bedroom apartment to entertain in. As she got older and her needs changed, she joined different groups and still had her friends to go to dinner with.
