Spent the day touring here. Guard at the gate was very friendly. Other staff was also friendly and helpful. Residents all seemed very happy and lovely. There are a lot of activities!! Everyone was having fun! It is very large and you can walk from one end to the other without going outside. I watched the shuttle circle around several timeS. Restaurants all looked great. Very poor experience with a manager for one of the food services there. He was just simply rude and considering he is the manager that is not right. Everything else about the living center is beautiful. But I was not happy with the way the food service manger approached and spoke to me. It was very unpleasant.
Updated review July 2025: My mom and her husband moved into Cedar Crest two years ago. They are STILL very happy and continue to meet more and more people. The residents here are a very “high caliber” so you will live among fascinating and intelligent people. The buildings are so well-cared for. I NEVER walk around thinking this-or-that needs to be repaired, cleaned or painted. They listen to the residents and make capital updates. I enjoy visiting!
