These private ambulance service are nothing but glorified Uber drivers, they transport patients from hospital discharge to nursing homes and vise versa, 911 operations do not send these private services to actual emergency calls, why b/c they don’t meet national standards required to respond to a emergency medical page. EMS standards are national based and no longer state by state
I saw an ambulance of theirs parked behind a store where there is no public parking and had the front and passenger windows covered while they slept in the passenger seat. I called to let them know that their employee was sleeping on the job when they are supposed to be alert for if a call comes in. The lady said I’d is not concerning to her and the employee sleeping would not delay their response to a call. What a crock.
