Dr. Anderer is the best, as he completely changed my life. I came in suffering with a severely herniated disc and required immediate surgery. He walk me through the procedure with his team making sure I understood everything. He is so warm, friendly and compassionate and has a bright smile that can immediately calm his patients. My aftercare was great as his team would call to check on me daily until my next appointment. Thanks Dr. Anderer for returning my life to normal
It would not be a dramatic statement to say that Dr Anderer has changed my life. Immediately I was struck by his excellent bedside manner, he was calm, compassionate and wanted to understand my experience. He has a conservative approach to surgery which I appreciated, he made sure that I had exhausted all other routes of rehabilitation. After it was determined that surgery was my only option, he took time to explain the procedure, dispelling any concerns I may have had with a thorough and clear approach - he is a great commu... read more
After suffering with lumbar stenosis for almost a year, and various treatments that failed, I found Dr. Anderer. He performed a fusion surgery on my lumbar that has improved my quality of life significantly. He has continued to monitor my progress during the recover period, and he takes post-op care very seriously. I highly recommend Dr. Anderer to any patient suffering with spinal conditions that may be in need of surgery.
Dr. Anderer gave me my life back. After suffering from undiagnosed spinal issues that resulted in unbearable pain in my back and leg for over 10 years, Dr. Anderer correctly diagnosed me and performed spinal surgery which has had amazing results for me. Prior to the surgery, I could barely walk 10-15 feet before the pain became unbearable. Sometimes, I would have such bad nerve flare ups that I would be bed ridden for 2-3 months at a time. Now, although there is still some minor residual pain because it has only been less tha... read more
I’ve had lower back pain the last five years, including radiated numbness down to my legs and tingling in my feet. Dr. Anderer diagnosed the cause and gave me the option to either continue with treatments or opt for a surgery. He clearly explained the procedure and the risks in a very friendly manner. Two weeks after the operation, I am now recovered and my lumbar pain and associated symptoms are gone! Also his staff was very supportive and responded quickly to my needs when asking questions or fulfilling requirements before... read more
Let me start by saying, I wish more doctors were like Dr. Anderer. He speaks to you, not at you. He actually listens and answers your questions with language a lay person can understand. I’m thrilled with the procedure he did, which has been a complete success. I highly recommend him to anyone needing a neurosurgeon. Lastly, Dr. Anderer’s staff is extraordinary. Angelica, Rachel, Donna and Fran were so helpful and very, very patient with me. They all went above and beyond
I was recommended to Dr. Anderer by a colleague who suffered from the same condition (L4/L5 disc herniation). In our first meeting, he reviewed my MRI and admitted that I had a significant herniation. He recommended PT first to try and resolve the issue. I told him I had been in PT for about 3 months as of my appointment with him. He clearly and calmly explained the process of a microdiscectomy, again emphasizing that it is an option, or I could continue with PT for a few more months. He did not pressure me at all into perfo... read more
Met with Dr Anderer in 2015. I was in severe pain from spinal stenosis and after a year of trying PT and other options, Dr Anderer did surgery. One of the things I respected was that he didn't rush in to surgery and tried alternatives until there were no other choice - After a short recover my pain was gone and life went on. In 2021, I started having pain again and tried several pain management procedures to fix the issues - I did end up back at Dr Anderer as I trusted his judgement and knew that if I needed surgery he was t... read more
