Dr. Mertensenmeyer was rude and dismissive of my symptoms. He contradicted the evaluation of my primary care physician, NP's, and the audiologist in his office. He also disagreed with any treatment ordered by other providers, but offered nothing more than OTC meds. I will seek a second opinion from a competent ENT. I will not recommend Dr. Mertensenmeyer.
He didn't seem to care about my concerns. I felt like he was in a hurry and didn't really want me to explain my concerns or other treatments available. Will not recommend to others.
This doctor was not helpful, asked few questions, and did not seem to care about me or my health in the least. He was condescending and offered me nothing to relieve my sinus problems. I have heard that doctors start treating you differently once you become a 'senior', but this is the first time I have experienced it first-hand. A totally worthless visit. I would never go back to him. I would give no stars, if it were possible.
