Dr. Chenven, of Broward Urology Center, is an excellent Urologist who is providing me with outstanding care. I feel very fortunate to have found his practice. At my first visit he conducted a thorough exam, asked probing questions and listened to my reasoning for seeking help. He then recommended a course of action. I waited 2 hours and never saw the Dr!I was never given an update as to why it was taking so long, and after waiting for 2 hours, while waiting in an examination room and heard the doctor going into see another patient before me, I finally decided to leave. When I explained to the girl why I was leaving, she didn't say a word, just given a look, no apology or reason for the long wait, just attitude. I have never been treated so poorly by a Doctor's office in my life and strongly recommend going somewhere else.
I saw Dr Chenven many years ago when I had a kidney stone. Unfortunately, he has changed over the years. He has become very unprofessional and has absolutely no regard for other people's time.My first appt. I waited for 3 hours, 2nd was just under 2 hours, 3rd was a Telehealth appt that was to take place at 5:00. He didn't call until 7:10, at which point I had to leave for another commitment. Most aggravating experience. No one answers a phone, the recording says they are there, but they just don't answer. It says to leave a message, but it doesn't allow you to. So you call back 50 times on different days at various times in hopes someone answers. When you finally get through you are so excited and then they transfer you to a nonexistent extension. After you are more than exasperated you then have to call back 20 times again to try to get through in hopes that someone will reanswer. Finally, you get someone to ma... read more
I had no idea what was being done.He did a great job explaining what was going on. I was not sure what procedure I was doing but he did a great job telling me what was going on.
I have visited Dr Chenven several times and each visit is better than the last. When I first visited, he allayed all my fears about the pains I was having. He quickly recommended medication that worked and I left extremely satisfied. It was not easy seeing a prologist for the first time but he put me at ease and the exam was the easiest I have ever had. My last visit was a follow-up to assure me that all was well and he gave me information about certain medications that would help prevent any further issues with my prostate.... read more
Referred by Holy Cross by my primary physician to Chenven for ordinary urology consultation. The whole office is an organizational mess: 1. Long wait times - once two hours - either in the waiting room or an exam room. 2. Showed up for appointment only to be told that testing equipment was inoperable. 3. Chenven instructed Doreen, the office manager twice to check with my insurance to determine coverage limits. Never a return call despite leaving several messages. Dr. Chenven has good bedside manners and is very knowledgeable. I would recommend him. His office staff is very nice as well.
I was referred to Dr. Chenven by my internist and have had the best experience with him. His approach to patient engagement and really ensuring that the patient clearly understands the diagnosis and the treatment plan is what separates him from others. He really seems to care for his patients instead of just looking at a person as a number. And his staff takes his lead and also does an outstanding job with interacting with and educating patients.
