Rude and snobby.
Dr. Grimes performed a tonsillectomy on me several days ago. My initial impression of him was that he was very genuine and thorough. However, after my surgery I learned that he wouldn't prescribe me pain meds. I can understand why doctors are hesitant to prescribe narcortics, but after a pretty major surgery?! He told my parents that he does not believe in them. He recommended children's liquid Tylenol. Even after calling the office and describing my pain and how miserable I am.

Thank you for your comments, and I am always happy to explain my approach to control of pain following best practice guidelines as supported in the medical literature. I agree tonsillectomy can be a painful experience for some patients, and that meeting pain control expectations can sometimes be challenging to provide in a safe manner.
Very belittling , obnoxious . I don't feel he has any compassion for his patients. He doesn't listen to patients complaints and does not allow a patient or other doctors for that matter opinion. If you have other options, choose them , or if you have a common problem that is easy to diagnose he may be your man.
