I had trigger thumb surgery with Dr. George. Every appointment is a 2 hour wait to see him. My minor surgery was scheduled for 9:30 and wasn't done till 12:00 pm. My thumb was more messed up then before surgery. I had to see another doctor (not from EJ) who recommended intense physical therapy to get my thumb mobile. A 6 week recovery time turned into 3 months and counting. Thanks to my neurologist who told me to get a second opinion because something was wrong with the way my thumb looked.
I've been a patient of Dr. George's for years and I trust him completely. He had to operate to relieve a locked thumb and as always the surgery went off without a hitch.
Dr. George was great. He was able to diagnose my hand before even seeing the MRI or CT Scan. The wait can be a little long but he's definitely one of the nicest and personable doctors I've ever dealt with. If you want fast service, there's a million other hand surgeons you can go to.. but if you want it done right, go see Dr. George!
He is the worst doctor I have ever visited. After a 2 hour wait time, he barely spends 5 minutes time to talk to you and hear you. No matter if I still have questions, he's already walking out the door even without saying good bye! He misdiagnosed me for Tendinitis and had a surgery on my hand. He has stated that I have reached the maximum medical treatment and after 3 months I am still dealing with the same issues as I had before. He knows nothing about work ethics!
The staff at The Hand Center is courteous and perfect. They make coming back pleasant.
