Edited* Dr Plott is an hour late each appointment and spends an allotted 15- twenty minutes with you. He draws 20 viles of blood and doesn’t go over the results in depth. He doesn’t offer a lot of nutritional advice only Pharma meds. I did learn they have surgeons at singing river tho. His nurse Elizabeth is great at getting things done! Although Eric Plott does excessive labs—they are comparable or better to USA in mobile AL IBD clinic quality and he is good with prescribing a variety of meds that require extra paperwork. Our gripe is with the front office who takes your payment. They told my husband his copay was 50.00. Our copay is only 35.00. I argued with her about it and she told me they can charge the highest copay and if it's not correct the insurance company will reimburse us. After talking to the insurance company they told us the copay is indeed 35.00 and we should NOT have been charged any more than that and the doctors office is responsible for reimbursing us. New Patient to this GI Practice the off Staff nurses , scheduling Were wonderful Dr Plott is a genuine doctor he is very knowledgeable and actually takes the time to listen and ask questions.. Glad i found Them .
