Our 3 day old baby had gone 4/1 hours without eating and was sleepy and lethargic all day. I called Dr. Neal’s office and his receptionist told us to just keep trying to feed her and bring her to our scheduled appointment the next day. I asked how long to go before we need to bring her in an she said she should be fine. We took her to ER later where she was given an IV and stayed overnight. The next day Neal defended the receptionist and said he would have told us the same thing.
I feel as though I am diagnosing, and then going to get confirmations but only get vague answers. I diagnosed my child's skin condition, and ended up making an appointment with a dermatologist to get confirmation since I literally got a could be when I asked Dr. Neal of the cradle cap could be eczema but did not even refer us to dermatologist, did on my own.
