I was a patient of Dr. Mehlberg's for a few months up until the pain center I was being seen at closed down and he left. He was one of the best doctors I have ever had the pleasure of being treated by. He was smart and funny and encouraging, and treated me like a human being with a medical/pain condition; not a person seeking substances. With his help, I had a life again. At my 1st appointment, they (receptionist not the red head) took my temperature and stated I had a temperature above 100 and I will not be allowed to see my DR. I will need to reschedule. I knew I did not have a fever and disagreed with the calibration of their electronic thermometer. The office manager stepped in and asked me to calm down. I thought I was calm, but just disputing the result, and asked for the thermometer to take my own in front of them. I took my temp - and it was normal.
