I told Dr. Vierra that there was something wrong with my eyes. He refused to refer me to an ophthalmologist and repeatedly assured me it was just normal aging. It wasn't normal aging. It was glaucoma due to a severe vitamin deficiency related to a bowel resection. Dr. Vierra did not have time to concern himself with my medical history.
