Dr Kawata has been my optometrist since I got glasses at age 4. He is gentle, does not condescend, has a calming voice, and his staff are both skilful and friendly. I miss him terribly now that I no longer live in california! I still use the last rx he gave me, which has proven accurate and was clearly written when given to me. He treats the individual, there's no one-size-fits-all with him.
