Dr. Elton performed a colonoscopy on me in October, 2021. He never told me that he wouldn’t have an anesthesiologist assisting him. I was awake, felt pokes and prods, which I never felt during previous colonoscopies. I asked why he didn’t have an anesthesiologist and his response was, “They’re very expensive.” I have excellent insurance. He never asked me for my opinion. Never again will I see him!
Eric Elton, MD Gastroenterology is a top choice for a excellently trained specialist. If you are concerned about making sure you have a complete colon cancer screening(colonoscopy) or other GI concerns, I urge you to make your appointment with him. He is U of C trained, Chicago's center of excellence for GI, and I cannot stress the importance of his training. He did my colonoscopy today.
