I had cataract surgery with another doctor in the practice who was very good but she was not able to minimize my astigmatism enough to give me 20/20 vision. She sent me to see Dr Donnenfeld and he did a simple LRI procedure with the Donnenfeld Diamond knife and my vision improved instantly. If it doesn’t improve to the level the doctor and I are happy with he said he will repeat the procedure. He’s like an eye magician!
From the moment I met Dr Donnenfeld I knew he was perfect Dr for me! Dr Donnenfeld patiently answered all my questions and he could tell I was very nervous for my upcoming cataract surgery. On the day of my surgery, I met with Dr. Donnenfeld, and he assured me that he would take very good care of me which he did. I have 20/20 vision in my eyes and I am so so happy. Dr. Donnenfeld and his assistants, Anjali and Lakeyanna are amazing! From the first visit to my last I felt like a VIP!! Thank you again Dr Donnenfeld!!!!!
Had an appointment for today at 315pm with Dr Donnenfeld, arrived at the office at 153pm and was told that the Dr was leaving at 200pm and that they had left a message on Jan 29 I never received such a call. The receptionist was not interested in making any alternative appointment, I walked out of the office disgusted. Olga LoMonaco

He remains patient and attentive, no matter how many concerns you bring to him. For 25 years, he has treated me with unwavering care and compassion. He is truly one of a kind, and I am deeply grateful for him.
I had cataracts surgery and paid extra for the laser to correct my astigmatism and for the lens for up-close vision. After the procedure, my distance vision was better but blurry and up close was worse. I went back again and Dr. Donnenfeld used the laser to remove scar tissue. My vision was still worse up close so I went back to the doctor again and this time he fixed it in office. Now my vision is blurrier and my left eye has a scratching pain at times.
