Local State Farm Agency (Whitfield Ins and Fin Svcs Inc) at Indianapolis 46204, Lic. #: ******* IN. Taking advantage of foreign customers. Does not provide sufficient information when selling a policy, and blames the customer for a job half done. Congratulations on State Farm Indiana to have the worst customer service in the entire United States.

We moved to State Farm for lower price for home, auto, and liability insurance. In 2nd year, we had two water damages and State Farm declined to renew our policy citing some CA State law. Our first water damage, per State Farm-certified plumber's letter, was result of a common construction issue (a nail in a pipe.) We are told State Farm documents falsely blame a faulty toilet seat. Our second water damage was from a dishwasher leak. State Farm has paid most of the cost of repairs to our satisfaction. State Farm has given us... read more
Almost two weeks after my accident, I have no idea what the status of my claim is. They stuck me with paying 20% of the rental car fee AND won't speed up the process so I'm racking up a higher bill than I can pay. I was not at fault, but both I and the at fault driver have State Farm, which I suspect is why they can get away with being so slow and unhelpful.
Recently gotten in a car wreck.. and the wreck was not my fault. But the company did not investigate the case. Also they wont even answer my calls regarding my claim. And when leave voicemails.. I dont get a return call. All in all they are just bad buisness that wont stand by their costumers.

I been with State Farm Insurance for years. I been paying my premium always on-time. Just recently, my rental property have a water damage. State Farm sent someone over to perform a cost estimate. The cost of replaced the pipe is not covered under insurance as it consider wear and tear but I could get only reimburse with the flooring only. They claimed that I only gets fractions of the cost and of course it would be below my deductible so they don't have to pay me a dime.
These people are very careless and always late sending out insurance cards. Poor customer service, delayed service. Misdirects mail...I have to constantly contact them to send out cards and fix problems they created. This is unacceptable! They are always on-time taking payment from account, that's for sure.

One of State Farm's clients hit one of our driving school's cars. When a car is down we lose money every day the car is not running. State Farm has continually avoided paying for the down time that their client wrecked. Down time was submitted 2/23/2017 and we have only received the run around, no return on phone calls, and rude and ignorant behavior. State Farm knows they are responsible for paying. They asked for more information and we gave it to them. Their poor rating tells you why their poor rating is pathetically inep... read more
How can 1,800 claims and 72 negative reviews equal a “B” rating for State Farm? Is the BBB getting kick-backs from them? State Farm recently lost a fraud case that went all the way to the US Supreme court. Wow, just wow. Have been a customer for years, actively searching for an ethical company to give my money to.
My vehicle was involved in an auto accident on Jan 25th. State Farm offered to tow my vehicle to one of their 'select service' body shops for an estimate and possible repair, I agreed. State Farm had my car towed to Tim Murphy's Collision in Baltimore, Maryland. After a few days went past with no update I received an estimate on Jan 27 since the office was closed Sat/Sun I waited until Mon to call and get access to my account to review the estimate. I never received a call or message from neither the body shop nor State Farm... read more
