I had emailed the doctor prior to coming and talked with a nurse told them about my symptoms and told them they need to do ultrasound and pelvic exam to check my uterus I was 17 weeks pregnant did not check it and send us away never came to meet us and just took urine sample and within 2 days I had major bleeding and had my baby go delivered preterm which did not survive.
Dr Allerkamp was my provider from age 16-22. Every interaction I had with him. Made me uncomfortable. He was very judgmental. I would not recommend this provider
He is very compassionate and understanding. If I were to ever have another baby, I will be going back to him only. The only thing I’d change is delivering at Metroplex. Wish he could travel to Scott and White.
Claimed he could help me with my Endometriosis. Did a surgery that not only did NOT help, but also made the pain worse. Tried to push more birth control on me and when I told him I didn’t want to take birth control anymore, or at least take a break and try something else, he literally refused to let me see him again. Instead of being respectful about it and saying “i can’t help, let’s find someone who can” NO. He ditched me. without any plan or apology for botching his surgery.
Amazing doctor! He is thorough and very compassionate with his patients! I will recommend him to all my female friends and family!
