Hard to imagine a more rude, arrogant, dismissive person. Terrible bedside manner, completely ignored all input from us, dictated instructions and left. Unfortunately, his instructions also made no sense.
This doctor canceled our appointment when he shouldn't have. He, instead of admitting a mistake, claimed he was worried about anesthesia despite the fact that we are going under anesthesia in about two weeks. On top of it all wouldn't even talk to us personally and had a different doctor talk to us who couldn't really explain his reasoning. This is not the doctor you want if he can't manage a scheduling mistake how is he going to handle something going wrong in surgery.
Dr. Kurzrock has been my son's doctor since birth. He has always made me feel my opinion is valuable and supported my decisions, while ensuring I know the benefits and risks involved in my decisions. I love Paula. Everyone has been kind and really gone above and beyond what is needed to provide complete care.
I would definitely recommend Dr. Kurzrock. He did a double ureter reimplantation on our 2 year old in January of 2016 and it was a complete success. The scar is barely visible now. He and the staff at UC Davis were great.
Hands down the best Urologist ever! We feel blessed to have had him as our daughters Dr. Thank you Dr. Kurzrock.
