I totally understand not taking new patients during COVID. But shouldn’t a receptionist know this right away, or if not, contact the doctor and call right back saying, "I'm so sorry, the doctor is not taking new patients at this time"? I called in February to ask for an appointment as a new patient, was asked and gave a lot of medical info along with my insurance, was told, "ok, someone will call you back with an appointment time" (which sounded a bit strange to begin with), only to be called back a few days later telling me... read more
