We’ve been renting from this same company going on three years now. Never had any issues. Always on time with rent and we are a clean family. I called for clarification regarding an oil stain in the driveway and Mel Facer literally hung up on me. I only asked her for clarification! Shelly Peeples had the absolute worst communication. Every update we got was strictly because we just so happened to be in communication with the owner of the house we were interested in and I would reach out to her after the owner was communicating confusing cause he had given the ok days before. She has a poor attitude. She very likely saved this house for someone she knows, that's how it feels. Wasted time dealing with someone who is too lazy to do their job!! Requesting Assistance Today for a Leak in the bathroom,Era Sent someone over less than 24 hours ! Maintenance Came And Fixed the Issue Today,(Replaced the Faucet) and fixed an Area in the kitchen . I would be very cautious when dealing with this property management company. I saw firsthand how difficult it was for someone I know to get straightforward answers regarding move-out charges. There were questions about a large painting charge and how it was calculated. References were made to Florida rental law and HUD guidelines, but obtaining the exact statute or HUD documentation being relied upon became an issue itself. I watched a friend deal with a very frustrating move-out dispute with this company. What concerned me was the difficulty getting clear answers about a substantial painting charge. The company referenced both a Florida statute and HUD guidance regarding the useful life of paint, but my friend repeatedly requested the specific statute and HUD chart/publication supporting those statements.
