I have worked in healthcare over 40 years. Recently my daughter went to this clinic as it was the only clinic open late night. She used a temporal thermometer w home readings of 103.4 and 104.2 F. I instructed her to go to an ER or quick care. She experienced mild sore throat, fever, chills. She went into this clinic which was mostly empty. The nurse was dismissive throughout. The doctor wouldn't listen to me with the same problem. I'm multiracial and she just doesn't want me to get better. Playing games with my health because it's all about control and power over others. I'm being discriminated against due to my race.i ask for the same as last time. A shot at the urgent care and a few to take home . It helps with the burning swelling, itching and it's very painful. Have gone to this ER 4 times with my husband and son. Like many ER's one struggles to get help for things that are important to the patient but not to the healthcare team. For example, EVERYTIME we went to this ER they could never provide a pillow for the head. My husband with stage 4 esophageal cancer was so uncomfortable and then again my son with acute appendicitis ......and we never got a pillow despite asking.
