I would not recommend Equity Team to anyone looking to rent a property, nor would I recommend them to any landlord looking for a property management company. My experience completely changed after move-out. Throughout the dispute process, Equity Team repeatedly claimed they had photographs and inspection documentation supporting nearly every charge they assessed against my security deposit. Love this management company! Really great experience. I got the self tours mixed up for 2 units that I was seeing and signed the lease for the one I did not like as much. I only noticed on move in day. The one I did like was rented out but when I called they were able to transfer my lease same day to a different unit in the building that I liked more and fit better with my needs. As an advocate for a temporarily disabled tenant I was very pleased with the Equity Team. Claudia Najera's communications were clear, prompt and professional. The Equity Team worked with the tenant and made accommodations that were a great help. Claudia kept things organized and as simple as possible in what could have been a messy situation. i actually hate this place so much. do not rent from these people EVER. there is something wrong with our apartment almost every week. AND to add onto this. at 1am our ac decided to stop working. we called the emergency maintenance and no one was answering. i have a baby and it was 80 degrees in the apartment. very easy for my baby to over heat at that point. THEN they finally scheduled a time for the next day between 1-4. They put this as a ‘medium’ priority…
