This review is specifically for the Ayla at ********** apartment complex owned by Equity Residential. Management is incompetent. The garage gate is always broken & Im certain they arent paying enough to get it properly fixed. They changed the garage gate opener to a camera/sticker situation and you have to pull up so close to the gate that you risk your car getting hit. The elevators are broken all the time, if you cant take the stairs due to injury or disability then you just dont have any access to the pool or gym, period.... read more

Absolutely horrendous staff all smiles and corteous to fill in quotas and apartments until you bring up valid concerns that impact your way of living in their appartments. Whether its noise complaints or even maintenance items that were left out months even after moving in....But im glad the 3 gals in the reception have the time to talk about their struggles with dating and ****** over the concerns and requests of the tennants that live within the property......The ***** Apartments (*************)
***** Infested Apartment and Gaslighting ManagementDo Not Move Here! I have lived here 3.5 years. The only pros are that the concierges are great and the views are decent. Absolutely terrible. I lived at the ************ in ** for over a year - conditions were heinous. Had mold, asphalt falling from my ceiling and not a care in the world by management. Save your money - this is not a good company.
RUN, DO NOT RENT FROM THE HUXLEY in ************, **. I submitted an application for an apartment, was approved, submitted my deposit and two days later, I was notified that the apartment was not available due to system error. However, another apartment was available for an additional $1,000 per month. I live in an Equity apartment and my lease is up in two months. They gave me a ridiculous quote with an increase and called me every single day harassing me for a week about it, I was buy that week so I went to the leasing office to speak to someone and was told they don't handle renewals in the leasing office. I am a fairly new Tenant here, But I am already feeling the pinch of how far these people greed goes. A little perspective, I only moved in here because my two boys needed their own rooms, NOT because it's a great location, S**** the location! I would live in another county if I had to. Ive never felt so blatantly robbed by a management company. I live in a pretty standard one bedroom apartment in a quieter neighborhood in ******. Im a good tenant. Im already overpaying for my 688sqft apt at $2,120. My renewal came in at $42 more. Plus, theyre adding more fees for Smart Rent. Equity Residential charges us RUBS fees that are outrageous; I end up paying over $70 a month just for trash. TRASH!
