This is the worst place I have ever rented. I have never experienced a place like this before in terms of management and overall living conditions. Communication and transparency have been consistently poor throughout my tenancy. Issues are not handled in a timely or professional manner. I would not recommend this property to anyone considering moving here.
Chris and all the staff were extremely helpful during the move in process. It truly has neighborly feel while living in a big city.

The grounds are well kept. If you have a dog, there is an area for off leash running. Though the building is on the older side, the upkeep is incredible. I'm a resident at this property. There was a fire that started in a unit on the 19th floor. The management has been absolutely terrible in their response. They removed mitigation equipment prematurely, causing what appears to look like mold growth in my unit. The management has refused to abate rent while I've been unable to live in my apartment. In my experience, the renewal department feels disconnected from the residents. Renewal offers often come in noticeably higher than the public rates for the same type of unit, sometimes by a few hundred dollars. If you’re renewing your lease, I strongly suggest comparing your renewal offer with the prices listed online.
Dealing with Westgate Apartments in Pasadena—specifically now former leasing agent Marsha (e.g., no longer with Westgate) and Assistant Community Manager Michelle Longobardo—has been deeply frustrating and emotionally draining. Since the new management took over, they don't really taking care things. Noisy neighbor late night by dropping/banging things on floor, keep awake me.
